Arborist Reports & Tree Diagnosis
Arboplus offers annual inspections for mature trees to anticipate and manage potential health issues before they become serious. Prevention extends the lifespan of your trees, because problems are far easier—and less costly—to correct when detected early.
To establish an accurate diagnosis, our arborists evaluate four key areas: the canopy, the trunk, the root system, and the surrounding environment. This comprehensive assessment allows us to identify both pest activity and the early development of disease.
Growth Inspection
Regular evaluations of mature trees also make it possible to monitor their condition over several years. For example, analyzing shoot growth over a minimum three-year period helps reveal increases or declines in the tree's growth pattern. Changes in overall health can often be detected by closely observing new shoots and leaf development.
Arboplus arborists carefully record and archive all significant findings to ensure accurate follow-up after each consultation. Symptoms such as branch decay or crown thinning are documented and addressed with targeted solutions to manage underlying or developing conditions.
Tree Health Diagnosis
To complete each tree's file, a full health assessment is conducted—this is the sanitary diagnosis. For older or declining trees, a more detailed phytosanitary evaluation may also be required.
The health diagnosis examines:
- the trunk;
- the root collar;
- the branches;
- the leaves;
- the presence of diseases or invasive agents.
Each assessment includes clear recommendations outlining the actions needed to protect both the tree and the people who may come near it—whether on foot or by vehicle.
